On the Dammweg campus, we celebrated African and afrodiasporic culture with the Akebu-Lan Black Culture Fest in September 2021. The fest featured a family-friendly program that included music, dance, poetry, drinks, food, and various activities for young and old. With Alkebu-Lan, we succeeded in increasing the visibility of Black people in Berlin, celebrating African culture and facilitating intercultural encounters.
