On April 12 and 13, the show “JOURNEY OF DANCE” took place at the Gropiusstadt community center, which marked the end of our
Black Dance Culture Program. 

The participants of the program, immersed us in the diversity of Black cultures and we were able to experience a fusion of different dance styles, from Ndombolo to Krump to Dancehall and more.

Over a period of eight months, 15 young people took part in the Black Dance Culture Program and explored Black dance cultures and their socio-cultural contexts.

On 12.04 and 13.04.2014, the talented participants of the program shared their personal stories in a dance theatre piece, bringing themes such as inspiration, identity, gratitude and self-discovery to the stage.

We would like to thank all the guests who came out in such big numbers to witness the show.
